Debut album by Ghriéving, this Venezuelan duo pose an intimidating force in feral black metal. The sonic winds evoked in this first expression decree deep introspection garnered through ferocious hammering intensity. Not least inspired by the turmoil of the era, Ghriéving seek to ignite a spark kindled rarely in flesh and spawn reverence once more for a dormant flame. You can feel the sincerity in the depths of this stark chaos.

The dissonant bleakness of the first track is less weird and more hypnotic than on the second track. That's why I like it a little more. But both songs together make for an extraordinary experience and a journey to the arhythmically beating heart of darkness. mourner
